Modern Farm home in Ann Arbor with Geothermal. This open floor plan is a Modern Farm house with clean simple lines with black windows for a dramatic feel. Also, interior features include a stone fireplace, shiplap in the foyer, and beams with shiplap on the ceiling of the master bedroom. We also re-purposed a vintage utility sink for the mudroom. Furthermore, the exterior is board and batten from James Hardie with metal standing seam roof and 3 dimensional shingles. The energy efficient features include 2×6 exterior walls with cellulose insulation, spray foam in the bonds, and a energy seal package. In addition, Geothermal vertical closed loop system is used to heat the home. The HERS index rating was 50.
